Fortunately, they have come up with a synthetic alternative which is good news for the horseshoe crab!
These shiny little sand-cast sculptures are created out of old car parts and scrap aluminum collected from garbage dumps in Nicaragua. Using an age-old sand-casting process, the metal is melted down, cast, and then polished to perfection. This recycled horseshoe crab is bound to create a conversation wherever it is displayed.
