Ceramic Ring Dishes

Sweet little dishes to hold your most treasured things while you aren’t wearing them.  Place one by your kitchen sink to hold your rings while you do the dishes, or decorate your dresser with a fair trade ceramic ring dish. Artisans in the small town of San Juan de Oriente, Nicaragua use a kick-wheel (not electric) to create each piece out of local clay. They then engrave a design on them with a sharpened bicycle spoke. Yep, you read that correctly. They use a sharpened bicycle spoke to carve and etch the design into each ceramic dish. These ceramic ring dishes make perfect little gifts for friends, teachers, relatives, and even just for you!
