A polar bear is considered a marine mammal. How can the largest land carnivore be a marine animal? Polar bears spend much of their time in or around the ocean, specifically on the ice. They have webbed feet and are excellent swimmers.
These shiny sand-cast sculptures are created out of old car parts and scrap aluminum collected from garbage dumps in Nicaragua. Using an age-old sand-casting process, the metal is melted down, cast, and then polished to perfection. This recycled bear is bound to create a conversation wherever it is displayed.
