Gray Squirrel Balsa Ornament

The gray squirrel is tree-dwelling rodent. They are agile climbers and jumpers. They have keen senses of sight, smell, and hearing. They are more alert and nervous while on the ground. If they sense any danger, they quickly retreat to the safety of the trees.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
