Burrowing Owl Balsa Ornament

A small, brown, long-legged owl that lives in burrows is a burrowing owl. They use bait to attract their prey, and that is pretty intelligent even if it is someone else's dung. "Cooo-Cooo" says the burrowing owl.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
