Holiday Octopus Balsa Ornament

Octopuses can actually survive in cold water, as cold as the Arctic! This is because of their special blue blood. This little holiday octopus is donning a knitted cap to keep his head warm all winter.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
