Indigo Bunting Balsa Ornament

Indigo Bunting are not actually blue themselves, instead they have microscopic structures on their wings that reflect/refract light like a prism. You can easily attract these cute little birds to your birdfeeder.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
