Polar Bear Balsa Ornament

Polar bears live on the ice in the Arctic and, for that reason, are considered a marine mammal. They are the largest carnivore on land. Their meal of choice is seal and they can be found eating 100 lbs of blubber in one sitting.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
