Rhino Balsa Ornament

Rhinocerous means "nose horn." Male rhinos are called bulls, females are called cows, and a group of rhinos is called a crash! These large herbivores are social, intelligent animals who are excellent swimmers, and can even walk backwards.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
