Robin Balsa Ornament

Robins are often associated with spring as they are usually the first bird we see as winter passes in the northeastern US. They love fruit, berries, and even pastries if they are lucky. You can find them in the yard eating earthworms but not seed from your birdfeeder. Male Robins are known for their beautiful singing.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
