Scarlet Macaw Balsa Ornament

The scarlet macaw is one of the most beautiful birds in the world. The area around their eyes is white, a providing a striking contrast from their red body, highlighted with bright blues and yellows. Gorgeous!

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
