Gray Wolf Balsa Ornament

Is there an animal that conjures up the wilderness more than the Gray Wolf? We think not. The Gray Wolf is an intelligent predator that uses howling as a means of communication not only to warn others but also to communicate its location. They travel in packs (their family) and are extremely loyal and devoted to one another. They are big eaters - up to 20 pounds of meat for one meal!

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
