Bison Balsa Ornament

Bison are the largest mammals in North America. Yellowstone National Park is the only place in the US they have continuously lived since prehistoric times. If you ever see a bison's tail straight up, you better beware! This signals they may be ready to charge and they can run up to 35 mph.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
