Giant Panda Balsa Ornament

The giant panda has been on the endangered list for over 25 years. Pandas are loners who love to climb trees and eat bamboo. They have a 6th finger similar to our thumb which makes it much easier for them to hold the bamboo when eating.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
