California Red-Legged Frog Balsa Ornament

The California red-legged frog is largest native frog and is named for its red belly and back legs. This rare amphibian is only found in a few areas in California and is considered endangered due to loss of habitat.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
