Harpy Eagle Balsa Ornament

The harpy eagle is one intimidating looking bird, with a 6-foot wingspan and 5-inch long talons! They can crush their prey and lift up 15-pound prey with ease. They are bigger than the bald eagle and one of the largest raptors in the world.

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
