Albino Squirrel Balsa Ornament

Albino squirrels (which have pink or blue eyes) are extremely rare. White squirrels with dark eyes have a pigmentation condition called leucism. Many people believe that if you see a white squirrel, good luck is coming your way!

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
