Golden Poison Frog Balsa Ornament

The golden poison frog is one of the most toxic and lethal animals on Earth! It lives on the rainforest floor, eating poisonous ants and insects, causing it to have poisonous secretions. The toxins on these little frogs are capable of killing 10 humans!

Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand-carved and then painted with non-toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
